We’re here to help you with you’re emergency and long term storable foods. The J. Michael Stevens Group, with Steve Shenk as its director, has been the premier emergency and storable food organization for over 25 years. Thank you for coming to our site and placing your confidence in us.

We're on your side! Since we are a co-op rather than a typical retailer, our job is to order for you the storable foods that you need from suppliers that we know you can trust.

Here’s the law that we live by—it’s our commitment to place orders on your behalf with suppliers that we require to ship more of a better quality of food for less cost than any other source available.

We are not required to order from any one supplier (which is what retailers do). We select the ones we trust based on our intimate awareness of all sources. (This guarantees us the best possible products.) We then combine a large number of orders into huge block shipments on which we can negotiate the very best volume pricing. This approach guarantees our families and yours “the very most of the very best for the very least.”

We know that what you put out comes back to you tenfold. We know that over the period of 25 years there are thousands of families all over the country who have called us for information. Families send their next generations to us for supplies. People call up, tell us what they’re trying to accomplish and ask us to send them what they need and to let them know how much the check needs to be made out for.
