How much food do you need?

Be sure you have given serious study and thought to how many years of food you will need to get through the coming shortages and problems. (Remember your food supply is your primary and maybe only means to immediate independence and fearlessness.) We have our opinion, but it's your life you're betting on the decisions that you make. The average number of years stored by families who are scripturally and politically aware is between 3 and 4 years.

Is meat included with these supplies?

All the soups and entrees are all vegetarian. Any “meat” (Vegetable “Beef” Stew, for example) is textured vegetable protein or TVP.

How old is the food prior to shipping?

All of the food units from eFoodsDirect are packed fresh and date stamped. Your order is shipped within two weeks of being packed to insure that it's fresh when you get it.

Does the food contain added MSG or GMO?

The food supplied through eFoodsDirect never contains added MSG (mono-sodium glutamate) or GMO (genetically modified organisms). If we wouldn't eat it ourselves or confidently feed it to our own families, we wouldn't sell it to you. Period.

What kind of food is used?

The food (all #1 grade) is dehydrated from fresh raw. While the year long supplies consist of basic ingredients such as carrots or peas, the Nutriversal foods are all formulated from our own recipes using the same high quality, dehydrated ingredients.

How much space does it take?

The pouches are packed in strong, industrial strength totes and a one-year/one-adult supply takes about the same space as a washing machine.

How long can I store this food?

The dehydrated food provided by eFoodsDirect will retain its nutritional content and taste for more than 15 years (more if stored under optimal conditions). It should be stored in a cool, dry place with minimal temperature variation. Do not refrigerate.

How is the food shipped?

Shipments are sent UPS usually the following day after your order. Shipping rates are automatically calculated by your zip code in the shopping cart. The length of travel time for shipments after leaving the warehouse varies from two to five business days depending on your location in the country.

Does the food contain Transfats?
