Baked Rice

Here’s a delicious side dish that’s fast and easy to prepare. Whatever the entrée, baked rice is a tasty compliment that will bring out the flavor of your main dish.


Baked Rice

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups brown rice
  • 4 cups boiling water
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 1 tablespoon chicken or beef bouillon

Preheat oven to 350°F. Toast rice in a dry pan until golden brown. Put it in an ovenproof dish. Mix the bouillon with the boiling water and pour it over the rice. Add a pinch of salt. Bake for 40 to 50 minutes.
