Mashed Potatoes

Cooking mashed potatoes using dried potato flakes is easier than starting with whole potatoes but there is no difference in taste or nutrition. Mashed potatoes are a great side dish for any kind of entree.
Mashed Potatoes
Ingredients:
- 2 quarts hot water
- 3 cups potato flakes
- 4 tablespoons butter (or butter powder)
Boil hot water. Add potato flakes and butter. Whip until it fluffs up. Let stand for a few minutes. Add salt and pepper to taste.
