  • 2 cups eFoods Direct Pancake Mix (prepare according to pkg directions)
  • 1/2-cup buttermilk
  • 1 cup chopped candied pecans
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 Tbsp. canola oil
  • 1/4-cup butter


Strawberry Compote

Cooking Instructions

Strawberry Compote Combine 1 tablespoon of sugar with 3 cups of strawberries. Cook over low heat and stir until the compote is thick. Remove from heat set aside.

Combine pancake mix, buttermilk, egg, and butter in a medium bowl. Stir ingredients until mixed well, add candied pecans.

Add oil to a large pan and bring up to medium heat. Pour 1/4 cup pancake batter into hot pan for each pancake. Cook until golden brown for 2 minutes on each side until the edges bubble and the color is golden brown. Pour strawberry compote on top while pancakes are hot! Add maple syrup if desired.

Cooking Time: 25 minutes; Makes 4 Servings.
