apple cinnamon oatmeal

Ingredients

  • 2 cups eFooodsDirect Apple Cinnamon Oatmeal (prepare according to directions)
  • 2 cups all purpose flour
  • 1 cup golden raisins
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. baking soda
  • 1 tsp. ground cinnamon
  • 1 tsp. ground nutmeg
  • 1 cup packed brown sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1-cup canola oil
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup chopped cashews

Cooking Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Soak raisins in hot water to plump up and set aside. In large bowl, sift flour with baking soda, salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Mix in oatmeal, brown sugar and cashews. In a separate bowl, beat eggs with fork and add oil, vanilla, and raisins and water mixture. Pour into dry ingredients, stirring until well mixed. Drop by teaspoonfuls about two inches apart onto un-greased cookie sheets.

Bake 12 to 14 minutes in the preheated oven, until the edges are golden brown. Let cool.


Cooking Time:  25 minutes; Makes 48 Servings.
