chicken noodle soup



  • 2 cups eFoodsDirect Chicken Noodle Soup (prepare according to directions)
  • 1-cup portabella mushrooms-sliced
  • 1/2 cup minced garlic
  • 1-cup red onion-diced
  • 1 Tbsp. canola oil
  • 1 cup chopped fresh parsley
  • 8 cups chicken broth
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. Ground black pepper
  • 1/2-cup rice

Cooking Instructions

Pour oil in a large stockpot. Over medium heat, sauté garlic, onion, and mushrooms for 5-7 minutes, then pour in the chicken broth.

Bring to a boil and simmer for 10 minutes, until the vegetables are nearly cooked. Add rice and simmer for another 15 minutes. Serve hot.

Cooking Time: 30 minutes; Makes 4 Servings.
