  As a former Special Forces alumni, being prepared and 1 step ahead has been my way of life. So I wanted to have a bit of luxuary for my family if something ever happens so I've order 1 of each the Freedom and Liberty Bulk Kits, the KITS store nicely in my safe room on my property. We had started with the samples and were very surprised about the taste. My child actually ate hers as opposed to a MRE that I have tried to get her to taste for years. After being in the service and eating MRE's for years I am pleasently surprise in regards to a long term storage food that actually tasted better then the MRE and C&K rations. I bought enough for my family and to help others if possilbe in the event of a major economic/political or even enviromental incident. Do some shopping and compare the products. For what you are getting; the value and taste is great as compared to the competition. I plan on more purchases

  Wow! Received our 1st Freedom unit, with Berkey water purifier, and are very impressed. We sampled one of the soup blends, and one of the cans of whole eggs, both were easy to prepare, and both tasted very good - our kids couldn't tell the difference from fresh (non-dehydrated) food. We are very pleased, and are preparing to order our 2nd Freedom unit. With all of the impending economic/political turmoil that continues to simmer, we can finally breathe easier that should the worst happen, we will still be able to provide for our children and ourselves.

  Everything I hear seems to say that we're just hanging out there like sitting ducks waiting for something to happen and then hoping that some government agency will help us.
  Well, I'm not going to sit by waiting for help if something happens. I'll tell you what I did. I took your advice. I put in a good solid year supply of food for me and my family. I've got it in my house where I can get at it. I've also got a Berkey. Doing something is a lot better than sticking my head in the sand.

  I've saw what happened when hurricanes hit the East Coast. FEMA and the Red Cross did a great job, but those of us that could take care of ourselves were in better shape than those that need help. Also, we didn't add an extra burden to the already over taxed government and charitable organizations. Food was available only if you stood in a soup line. We live in a cul-de-sac with five other families. With our supply, everybody had plenty to eat. Your advice to store extra is right on. It's a great feeling to have what you need when you need it.

  We have wanted a better method for organizing our food storage plan. I am starting with one liberty unit but I am sure I will be back for more based on my budget and family needs..Many, many thanks for your quality and excellent pricing for the value.
