Evacuation Pack

Description

The Evacuation Pack provides meals for 14 days and includes all the necessary emergency cooking equipment.

The Evacuation Pack provides one adult with 14 days of healthy, delicious storable food -- 6 servings a day (or 3 hearty, 2 cup meals) plus snacks and energy drinks. All Lunch and Dinner products are vegetarian and are packaged in pouches containing 4-1 cup servings when prepared. Preparation is easy—add to boiling water and cook for 15 to 20 minutes. Long shelf life -- best used within the first 15 years. The evacuation pack, shipped in a sturdy green tote, also includes emergency supplies – everything needed to prepare the food in an emergency stove, cooking pot, measuring cup and portable water filter. In addition 4 Air-Aid Emergency Masks are included.

To increase the food supply for additional people, without buying more emergency supplies (stove, water purifier, etc.), we recommend that you order an additional 2-Week Responder for each family member.

This is a nice package, and aside from water, there are a few things you must add for complete usability:
    1. a bottle of propane fuel for the stove ($5 at my local drugstore)
    2. matches or a lighter
    3. a big serving spoon
    4. a few zip-lock bags or something in which to keep leftovers (since most of the food is not in "single-serving" packs)
I'm giving it 5 stars even though I think these items should have been included (aside from the propane.)

Building food storage always seemed like a daunting task, and very expensive both in the effort required and time spent trying to decide. When i heard about efoods on the radio I, realized how cost effective this solution really was, and how easy it made this process. We were able to work the cost of our food reserve program into our monthly budget for the year, and really for only a few dollars a day. We began with the basics..the evac packs, and it sure feels good to get started and know my family is taking steps to be prepared for the uncertain times ahead..we love you efoodsdirect
